Saving edits back to Excel

Can SheetForge save edits back to my Excel file?

Not at the moment. SheetForge reads your Excel file when you build the app. Changes made in the app do not write back to the file on your computer.

What you can do instead

• Export: click Export in your app to download the current data as an Excel file.
• Use Google Sheets: build the app from a Google Sheet. On Pro, edits made through your private edit link are saved back to the sheet (beta). See Write-back to Google Sheets.
• Load newer data: when your spreadsheet changes, build the app again, or open your downloaded app and click Upload to load the updated file.
