Adding your GA4 ID

When sharing your app, enter your Google Analytics 4 Measurement ID (format: G-XXXXXXXXXX) in the Analytics field. SheetForge will automatically inject the GA4 tracking script into your shared app.

What gets tracked

SheetForge adds the standard GA4 tag to your shared app. GA4 then records page views and the other data it collects by default (such as device type and approximate location), depending on how your GA4 property is set up.

Google Analytics sets cookies for your app's visitors under your control, so check whether you need to tell your visitors or ask for their consent.

Where to find your Measurement ID

1. Go to analytics.google.com
2. Select your property
3. Go to Admin > Data Streams
4. Click your web stream to see the Measurement ID

This only affects apps where you add your own Measurement ID. The SheetForge website itself does not use analytics or advertising cookies.
